Cultural Considerations within Behavior Analysis

Full Spectrum is an Authorized Continuing Education (ACE) provider with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). Completion of this course and all of its requirements will award the participant with 1 CEU credit in the area of ethics. Cultural consideration and cultural humility are essential in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) practice to ensure effective and respectful interventions for individuals from diverse backgrounds. Cultural consideration is the recognition and respect for the values, beliefs, and customs of different cultures, while cultural humility involves acknowledging and respecting differences, recognizing power imbalances, and engaging in ongoing learning and self-reflection.
